Of all the happy cliché endings, this one is near the top. Harry Potter vanquished the Dark Lord, and peace reigned over the Wizarding world. Of course, the rebuilding took years, and still moves forward to this day, but progress was steady and those who picked up the pieces of their lives tended to do it quickly. Marriage vows and families began. The Chudley Canons were back at losing almost every game they played – no matter what aid they seemed to get from the famous, such as Ron Weasley. The Wizarding world was once again at its normal problems; such as the stature of secrecy and keeping dragons away from unsuspecting muggles. Of course, they still had problems with blood supremacists, but tell me something that was new? The Wizarding world had improved through its hardships, yes, but it was still much the same place it had been before.
The children of the war veterans grew up, and went to school much like their parents had. Of course, unlike those before them, they didn’t have a grand war looming on their minds; it was rather the rivalry Quidditch game of the next week; Gryffindor and Slytherin, or the fact that everyone is most certain they will fail their OWLs, let alone their NEWTs. Love problems have never been far from a Hogwarts teenager’s mind, and this is no different. The Wizarding World was happily peaceful, but inside the walls of the learning institution – well, let’s just say that you may want to find another word.
