 HAZEL ANNABETH FLINTslytherin|sixteen|seerTo an outsider, she seems like a normal girl. She doesn’t care about what everyone else is in terms of house and blood status, but she does care about what she is, a half blood due to her muggleborn mother. She’s friendly enough; everyone knows she’s no white dove, but she isn’t seen as the master of all evil either - just another in-between. To someone who’s in the know, she’s seen much more clearly. She is sneaky and sly, good at thinking up excuses and covering her tracks, she isn’t beyond foul play and she always seeks and reaps some kind of gratification for doing something for someone, be it money, power, influence or information. If there’s one thing that can be counted on, it is that Hazel will never forget a promise, a favour or a deal, and will always come through on her side, provided the other side holds up their end (“When you’re good to mama, mama’s good to you” xD). Another point of interest is that Hazel is a seer, read all about it in her application for the details.
- Childhood and family friends – Hazel spent much of her time as a child with family friends because her father didn’t really know what to do with her, so she needs a good number of very close family friends and childhood friends. This is always good because it means it doesn’t matter if they have personality clashes they can still be as close as we want them to be.
- Close Friends – Hazel isn’t really the kind of person to hang around with one person 24/7; she thrives on change. Because of this, she will probably have a number of closer friends with whom she’ll be around for a day or so at a time, or whom she’ll spend a certain class with.
- I can see Hazel having one friend (and for some reason I see him as male, but I’m open to the possibilities) with whom she has a complete understanding. They would have to have been childhood friends and know each other very well, perhaps better than anyone else. They’d be one of the only people she could spend any amount of time with and not get bored. Sort of like her other half.
- Flings, one night stands, flirts ETC. – yeah, she needs anything and everything. They don’t need to have some epic plotline or to be involved in some affair – they could just be messing around – however, if you do have something in mind, do tell. She’s up for pretty much anything. Like it’s said in her application, she isn’t afraid of playing dirty.
Do not think of this list as the definite, think of it as some suggestions, or examples; a starting point. Although I do need things on this list, I’m always more than happy to take into consideration new ideas and plotlines.

Okay, so maybe Hazel and Jamie had a fling last year or the year before? I think Jamie would have kind of been knocked out by her and her personality (in a good way), and just kind of in awe of her. I'm open to pretty much anything, though! ^^;

I like it a lot. =) Hazel isn't one to really click with 'cute' characters (just because they usually annoy her), but for some reason I can see Jamie as the exception to the rule, so although their fling would be well and truly over, she'd probably still keep in touch, chat with him, keep an interest in his life. Not to the point where they'd talk every day or anything - because she doesn't really do that with anyone - but still... companionable? She'd most likely notice something about him (this is his secret bisexuality I'm talking about), but she'd probably have a tiny moment, like a guilt trip, when she'd decide not to pry in his life more than usual when she usually would - even though she senses something he might be holding back or keeping secret (that would be a seer sense, not just an everyday observation). If he did get into a relationship with another male and Hazel found out she wouldn't really be fazed; she'd be more enlightened ('I knew there was something going on!' sort of thing). I'm not sure how Jamie would act in all this; perhaps he got over the majority of his 'awe' after their fling ended?
Of course, if you want the just keep them as a past fling, that is alright as well. I wouldn't want to mess up any character plotlines or development. =)

I'm so glad you like the idea! I think Jamie would have seen Hazel for the first time and been very intrigued by her, not just because of her good looks (he does think she's beautiful!), but because of her personality. Like I mentioned in another plot thread, Jamie is always in awe of people who have strong, forward personalities, because he himself is not like that, and it takes a lot of courage to be that way. I do get what you mean by the two of them still being friendly with each other and still taking part in each other's lives to a certain extent, and he would definitely be part of that with her. He tries to be friends with everyone, even ex-girlfriends; he doesn't like those messy breakups. I also understand what you mean by Hazel's seer ability and her gut instincts and observations! It's totally fine if she catches the drift that Jamie is hiding his attraction for other boys, or just some vague something-or-other related to that, or just the mere fact that he's keeping something hidden. I don't think he would come out and tell her about it anytime soon, though, if that helps. It's probably pretty obvious to the people around him, but he's never straight up admitted it out loud. All in all, it's okay for Hazel to have that intuitive thing going on, and I definitely think it's good that they kind of keep in touch here and there. ^^; You aren't ruining any plots or development at all, don't worry! I hope I'm not, either.

Excellent! An ex-fling, with a fairly harmonious ending, I'm guessing, and a continued friendship/camaraderie. Sounds fantastic to me. I'll see you around the place then, partner! Looking forward to role playing with you in the near future. =)

Yay for tink plotting more! I am only going to toss my two student characters at you because I really can’t think of anything for Victoire and she’s an adult so..yeah.
Autumn
Well Autumn is just a year below Hazel and they are in the same house. Autumn is just muggleborn so since Hazel isn’t judgmental about blood, I suppose they could be somewhat friends? Autumn is just loud, bold, says what she wants, does what she wants but of course if anyone hurt her friends she’d get on their case. I imagine they could be decent friends, probably not besties but more than like casual acquaintances type.
Albus
Hmm, Albus is in the same year but just a Ravenclaw and not a slytherin soo…probably just casual acquaintances here. Albus wouldn’t be mean to her at all, in fact he’s civil he’s just a bit more quiet than most people and then will just say something utterly brilliant. He notices a lot more about people than they realize, so I imagine at least acquaintances since Albus also doesn’t judge by blood, he just thinks its stupid when people do. He also fails with girls, so if there was like crushing or something, he'd be completely oblivious. [/size][/blockquote]
