(All the relevant basic rules still apply to these Cboxes, including the rules on explicit content, godmoding/powerplay, and anything else that could reasonably apply to these Cboxes.) ONE. To access an IC Cbox, you must be a member. There is a different Cbox for each IC board, and you can access it by going into the board and clicking the link in the header. Please don't do something silly like go into the Cbox of the Library board and then try and say your character is in the Dungeons. It doesn't work that way; the Cbox of each board is meant for that board and not for the others. TWO. Only accepted characters are allowed into the in-characer cboxes. No using characters you just plan on making, or just have an application in the pending applications board for. If we find out you're pretending to be someone else's character in the Cboxes, there will be serious consequences. THREE. OOC comments can be made by inserting them between brackets. For example: Sue: [hello there] The member that plays Sue just made an OOC comment. FOUR. Here are some examples of some good IC Cbox posts. Sue: -wanders in and sits in a nearby chair- Bob: *walks in and smiles warmly at seeing Sue* Hello, Sue, how're you? Sue: -hates Bob- Actions that your character is making should be in some sort of symbol, such as in -'s or *'s. Text that is outside the symbols is dialogue (being said out loud). If someone puts something between symbols, it probably wasn't said out loud, so do not having your character respond to another character's thoughts. Notice the last part of the example, where Sue is noted to hate Bob. She didn't say it out loud, which means Bob can't not respond to it, saying something like "Why do you hate me?" Also, do not use "lol" or "lmao" or things like that; if you want your character to laugh, write it out in symbols as an action. This also applies to any other action-related acronyms. FIVE. In boards where there are multiple places to go, please put a mention of the location in the character's name. For example: Sue [honeydukes]: -wanders around the store- SIX. Please be courteous and have your character leave the IC Cbox when you're done RPing them in there. If your character has been in a Cbox for two hours without being responded to, or your character has not replied for two hours, then your character is no longer in the Cbox. Your character will have "left." If you're in a Cbox alone and insist on keeping your character in there, then just keep adding posts to keep them active in there. For example: Bob: *walks in and sits down* Bob: *goes to the cupboard and gets a glass* Bob: *goes to the ice box and poors orange juice into the glass* SEVEN. All mature content needs to be marked as mature within the IC Cboxes. To do this, capitalize your character's name and also include [X] with each post. This is to make it very noticeable, and therefore will alert people as to when something mature is happening in the IC Cbox. For example: BOB [X]: *mature content here* SUZY [X]: -mature content here-
