[THOSE IN CHARGE]

It's been twenty-five years since the fall of the Dark Lord; the year is now 2023. For the most part, everyone has been at peace since then. Sure, a few have tried to step up and take the place as new Dark Lord, but so far none have been very successful. The Death Eaters are still around, but the battle for power has been making them rather unorganized.

But naturally, peace is not forever. There have been rumors of a new evil, though nobody is sure who it's associated with. The Order has been very active for all these years, and are at the ready in case there is truth to the rumors. But most believe the stories are false, and think everyone's just being paranoid.

The rumors flourished even more when the Muggle Prime Minister was found dead in mansion over the summer. According to the Muggle police, it was impossible to tell the cause of death. But the wizarding world knows the Killing Curse when it sees it. So the question is, who killed the Muggle Prime Minister? Many wizards and witches hardly care, but others are afraid of a war between Muggles and the magical world.

A lot of the community is trying to just go on with their lives regardless of the rumors of people disappearing and others being found dead or tortured. Nobody wants to believe there could be another source of wickedness hidden in the community. But others are wary, and don't want to be caught off guard. For the moment, nobody can be sure of anything, but they're watching with bated breath.
